The University of Trento Faculty of Law has hostsed a Fulbright Chair in Law for more than 10 years, through which American professors visit and teach one semester. Information for the academic year 2012-2013 is available through the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (IES) in Washington, D.C. Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung/Foundation The Humboldt Research Fellowship enables young Ph.D.s and J.D.s to conduct research in Germany over extended periods. The TransCoop Program for Transatlantic Research Cooperation supports transatlantic collaboration among German, U.S. and/or Canadian scholars in the humanities, social sciences, economics, and law.
American Council of Learned Societies The ACLS sponsors or coordinates a substantial number of fellowship awards for humanistic research, including law, both in the United States and abroad. See more about the Council.
Canadian Studies Conference Grant Programs Grants are designed to increase knowledge of Canada in the United States through the support of teaching, research, conferences, and other program activities in a wide range of disciplines, including law.
